TAJE announces 2024 scholarship winners at ILPC Convention

On Sunday, April 21, seven seniors were awarded TAJE scholarships at the ILPC Spring Convention awards assembly in Austin, Texas. Several students and teachers were also announced as receiving scholarships to use at summer workshops.

Alice Scott, McCallum HS: Bill Taylor Memorial Scholarship (JOY) – $1,500
Maya Ortiz, Kingwood Park HS: Bobby Hawthorne Scholarship – $1,000
Mariam Jalloh, Frisco Heritage HS: Julia Jeffress Memorial Scholarship – $1,000
Blake Hinerman, Mansfield Legacy HS: Jim Davidson Memorial Scholarship – $1,000
Karis Chen, Bellaire HS: Dewitt C. Reddick Memorial Scholarship – $1,000
Raylee Mallett, Mansfield Legacy HS: TAJE Executive Board Scholarship – $1,000
Caroline Larrabee, Spring Branch Academic Institute at Stratford HS: TAJE Executive Board Scholarship – $1,000
