TAJE announces 2025 scholarship recipients at ILPC Convention

Haileigh Garrett of Sabine High School, Peyton Kuschmeider of Hebron High School, Christina Krasnova of Prosper High School, Claire (Larry) Liu of Coppell High School and Texas Journalist of the Year Krista Fleming of Hebron High School receive their scholarships from TAJE Executive Director Cindy Todd at the ILPC Spring Convention on April 13, 2025. Karen Wei from William P Clements High School also received a scholarship.

On Sunday, April 13, six seniors were awarded TAJE scholarships at the ILPC Spring Convention awards assembly in Austin, Texas. Several students and teachers were also announced as receiving scholarships to use at workshops.

Peyton Kuschmeider, Hebron HS (Steven Jones), Jim Davidson Memorial Scholarship – $1,000
Claire (Larry) Liu, Coppell HS (Irma Kennedy), Julia Jeffress Memorial Scholarship – $1,000
